Welcome! I’m John DeMory, and my daylily garden is tucked away in beautiful Valparaiso, Indiana.

Forty-five years ago I was lucky enough to marry my wonderful wife and partner, Diane. Together we’ve raised three incredible kids and further blessed with three of the most amazing grandchildren you’ll ever meet.

When I’m not spending time with family, you’ll usually find me on the trap range, on the golf course, or (most likely) out in the garden surrounded by daylilies. After all these years, my passion is still the big, full-form, patterned blooms with dramatic teeth — the wilder and more extravagant, the better.

My goal is simple: to grow healthy, true-to-name daylilies and share them with fellow enthusiasts through honest, detailed descriptions and clear, accurate photos you can trust. No hype, just the real flower, photographed in my own garden.
